GiftXThe LUXE Bidet NEO 185 PLUS is a good gift for someone who wants a simple, non-electric bidet upgrade and doesn't need warm water. Pick the NEO 320 PLUS instead if the recipient lives somewhere cold and has a sink close to the toilet, since it adds a warm-water connection for about $10 more.

At $55.99 on Amazon (October 19, 2026), with a 4.6/5 rating from 8,221 ratings, the 185 is the easier of the two to set up. It connects only to the toilet's cold supply, which suits renters and first-time bidet users. Below is who it fits, who should skip it, and how it compares with the 320.
Our verdict: LUXE Bidet NEO 185 PLUS
The NEO 185 PLUS is a practical, well-liked gift for anyone ready to try a bidet without a complicated install. Choose it for renters, new homeowners and warm-climate households. Step up to the NEO 320 if warm water matters and the hot sink line is nearby.
Check price on AmazonIs the LUXE Bidet NEO 185 PLUS worth it as a gift?
For most people, yes. It has dual nozzles for rear and frontal wash, a flip-up design with a 360° self-cleaning mode, and a low-profile look in four finishes (White, Chrome, Gold and Rose Gold). Amazon buyers rate it 4.6/5 across 8,221 ratings, and a digest of Amazon reviews shows buyers calling it well made and a quality product.
The install is the other big draw. It slides under your existing seat using U-shaped adjustment plates, and the 185 connects only to the cold supply through a T-valve. LUXE's own comparison describes it as a no-tool hose connection that suits renters. Testers elsewhere report roughly 12 to 20 minutes with basic tools. One reviewer did have to replace an undersized rubber washer to stop a leak, so a quick check after setup is smart.
What you give up is temperature control. One review of the 320 notes that the cheaper NEO 185 has nearly the same features and quality but no warm water. If the recipient is sensitive to cold spray, the 320 is the better fit. Otherwise the 185 is the sensible middle ground.

LUXE Bidet NEO 185 PLUS pros and cons
What we like
- Lower price than the NEO 320 ($55.99 vs $65.99 on Amazon)
- Simple cold-only hookup that suits renters, with a reported 12 to 20 minute install
- Dual nozzles and a self-cleaning mode, so it feels like a real upgrade
- 4.6/5 from 8,221 Amazon ratings, with buyers describing it as well made
- No electricity or outlet needed
Keep in mind
- Cold water only, so no warm spray option
- No heated seat or dryer, since it is a non-electric attachment
- Costs more than basic attachments, which BestReviews says typically run $25 to $30
- Some users find the top pressure setting too forceful, and one Amazon reviewer had to swap an undersized washer to fix a leak
Who is the NEO 185 PLUS a good gift for?
It suits new homeowners and renters who want a bathroom upgrade without calling a plumber. It is also good for eco-minded friends who want to use less toilet paper, and for warm-climate households where cold water is not a big deal. The low-profile look and four finishes mean it blends in without looking like a gadget.
It works as a practical housewarming gift too. If you are building a gift list, our guide to housewarming gifts by budget can help you place it. Because a bidet has to fit the toilet, it also helps to run through measurements and compatibility first. LUXE says these attachments fit most standard two-piece and one-piece toilets.
Skip the 185 if the recipient wants warm water, or if you are not sure they would welcome a bidet as a surprise, since it is a personal item. Also skip it if they want a heated seat or dryer, which a non-electric attachment does not offer. For someone with a cold bathroom and a sink near the toilet, the NEO 320 is the better pick.

NEO 185 vs NEO 320: how they compare
The two share the same flip-up design, dual nozzles, self-cleaning mode and install approach, so the choice mostly comes down to warm water and how much plumbing work you want to do.
LUXE Bidet NEO 320 PLUS
The 320 adds warm water, listed at $65.99 with a 4.5/5 rating from 3,166 ratings. Reviewed named it the best bidet attachment it has tested, and Popular Science picked it as its best budget bidet. The tradeoff is a moderate install, since warm water means tapping the sink's hot line (about 6 feet with the included hose). It suits cold climates and anyone who wants a more comfortable wash.

Bottom line
The NEO 185 PLUS is a thoughtful, low-fuss gift for someone curious about bidets. It has the same flip-up design and self-cleaning nozzles as its pricier sibling, a quick under-the-seat install, and strong Amazon ratings at $55.99.
If you know the recipient wants warm water and has a sink close to the toilet, spend the extra $10 on the 320. If simple and affordable sounds right, the 185 is an easy yes.
